...This may be my favorite shot of all time.
It was taken maybe 2-3 years ago, in my own backyard.
I was SO lucky-- this little guy stayed in his place for around a minute, even with the wind blowing!

It was featured on Webshots.com in fall 2007.

Very beautiful shot. The details you captured are stunning. I love the vibrant colors and the framing with the dragonfly off to one side of the photo. =D

In this case I used the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ20. Its old, but I love it, and it has 12x optical zoom which I adore :P

ah, yes I love it :)
But yeah on my little camera I have 3x and on my best one its roughly 3x so when I go to the one with 12x its like... heaven :P
